Film

As part of my course, I have taken a number of Film based modules, such as Film Studies, Cinematography, and Video Compositing & Editing. Below are two pieces of film I created. The first is a piece I created for cinematography. The second is a piece (of which I am more proud), created for Video Compositing & Editing. Enjoy!

This is my cinematography piece. The focus was more on achieving aesthetically pleasing shots as opposed to telling a story. It needed to be centered around the theme of 'a meeting', however. My idea was to show a young man running (literally) late for a job interview where he was meant to meet his prospective future boss. (Music credits listed on youtube)

This is my piece I created for Video Compositing & Editing. I am very proud of the shots I achieved in this short film. I fell ill in the weeks leading up to submission so had to adjust my initial story idea to suit filming when I was more recovered. My uncle very kindly agreed to act alongside me in this short film about two enemy soldiers, both on watch in a forest. One is a trained sniper, while the other is an infantry footman, tasked with clearing out any trenches or hideouts. Enjoy!
